500HP tune stock trans

Ok i just got my DSP2 tunes from Rob. The default tune is the big one and I dont have my DSP swutch installed yet. Think i would be ok to run this tune for a couple days if i dont get on it?

You could just borrow someone else's transmission in the meantime....

thats what i though when i put my 225hp ppe on stock trans for 15 mins. slipped it...i would noot sugest you use it. thats my opinion.

I'd run it. As long as you were pretty easy on the throttle in the higher gears, I think it'll be fine. Just my $.02

So lock out 4th gear when i drive and dont get on it and i will be good running the race tune

If your not ready to blow the trans....forget about the tune....maybe you can run it and keep your foot out of it, but what is the point of even putting it in if your not going to use the power

Load it up , You wont damage anything we wont be replacing just dont fill the valve body full of clutch material or i will be cursing you :rofl: stay out of 5th gear and you will be fine unless you derive it like it is stollen

The point is cause the stock tuning sucks and is really slow i need just a little more umph. If i can control the power i will be fine

you mean 462 with stock trans and meth, not stock tune, correct?

I'm with Trent. Put it on and rip it's @ss from 1-4. Stay out of 5th and you're fine. If you limp it, reset it and go.
