I'm trying to get to mid 12's so I am looking into water meth or nitrous my tuner says nitrous is iffy I am running about 31 degrees total timing right now ...what can I do to pick up that second or can I run both would that be a good idea...

what are your boost numbers? I would think you should be in the 500hp range and what are you boosting the truck to on line before you leave?

I've used nitrous on my stock turbo lb7 and blew it in a million pieces and had my engine run away on the engine oil coming thru the turbo. Bad idea lol, it's a lot of fun until you blow it up.

Launch at 10-12 psi, get drag radials, (mine are for sale), lose weight!

Go on the meth. You won't eat as much and lose weight and your truck will go faster with less driver weight!
Seriously though, lose weight off the truck wherever you can and you will notice a difference. That means seats, tailgate, lose the 5" for lighter 4" and a side turnout. And lighter tires will help too. Your 60' is what's killing you. I ran 13.2 with my lifted LBZ on 35" mudtires with all of the above done. Stock turbo, stock fuel.

Damn Rony....you never posted THOSE pics before.

O/P, you should be in the 12's already...no need for nitrous. If Mark hasnt written you a race tune yet, then you need to get that done. Then start working on your driving.

Currently on 18" wheels and 32" street tires... coin to weigh tomm and then reweigh after the diet... then I'll go to work on some chassis mods... I been launching around 8lbs... more equals bad torque steer.. less equals 2.0 60s.... u guys runnins 1.7 are y'all locked in the frt diff or running open frt diffs?

I agree with working on your 60s. My lb7 cuts low 1.7s and runs 13.5 13.6s all day on stock trans. Ran a 13.9 with a 1.9 60ft so I say work on that first :thumb:

Do you lower your front end down when you race? Lower fire pressure? Get in the 1.7's for your 60' and it will run a 12

Get your front end under control 1st.You need tierod sleeves if you don't have them and Cognito or PPE steering braces then drop the torsion bars a bit to load the front end. Then start launching at a higher boost psi.
