2017 L5P vs 2020 L5P

Hey there. Customer broke glow plug tip off in cylinder and ran engine in his 2017 L5P. Have a complete 2020 engine. I know there are some changes from early to late. Is the long block the same? Or should I be looking for 2017-2019 engine? Thanks!

Should be pretty well the same.

Long block wise they are the same. Complete engine wise there is a coolant line going to the turbo that is different, and the actuator for the turbo has plug flipped around. The right side accessory bracket will be different if your complete engine has that included. The 2020 will have the bigger oil cooler but that is not a problem.
