1st gear lock up

Is first gear lock up attainable? I was under the impression that 5-speed no six speeds yes when I did my testing it was in a 02 and grounding the f trim solenoid would not obtain lock up in first gear. I just had a conversation with a guy that claims his 05 5-speed will lock up in first gear with a DHD switch.

Sort of. there is no physical path for it. if you lock the converter in 2nd, slow down to first, it will hold the converter on but you can not turn the switch on in 1st and have it lock. only the 6 speed valvebody can do this.

I can confirm this. Stalled the engine testing it out with the DVT controls on EFILive
