Well, the title says it all. I am performing a passenger side head R&R and a driver side head gasket R&R. I need the valve lash specifications and a cylinder head TTY bolts specs too. Long story short, number three area of the cylinder was distorted by almost .006; in which I believe the head bolts gave up; all bottom row of the head bolts were very easy to take off. (I can explain more in detail if peeps want to know)Since this platform is very new; it’s very hard to find any info out there.I was able to find the cylinder head torque tables.
First pass 20 ft lbs
Second pass 59 ft lbs
Final pass (Third pass) 120 degrees
The six top 10 mil fasteners are at 24 ft lbs. All fasteners are in sequence to that of almost the first generation DMaxs to put plainly. I didn’t know how to write that up here.
This plandemic has really push my small struggling business to the breaking point of no return. I lost my subscription to Mitchell 1, hence is why I am asking for help.I should have passed on this job, but was helping out a friend with his struggling lawn care business and thought I could post any info that peeps had about this repair.
