A friend of mine bought a 08 3500 4x4 with the electric 4wd. It worked for a while and then it just quit one day. We replaced the switch and the tccm (transfercase control module). He even put in a new actuator in the front diff. I can't even communicate with the module with a tech 2. Can someone point me in the right direction or does anyone have some wiring schematics they can give me.

I know you've probably already do so but I'll ask anyway have you checked fuses and relays?

Worked on a truck that the batteries went dead on, they jumped it off a 200amp battery charger and it fried the tccm and got a new and it had to programmed before it would work

Not to derail but I have a very similar situation. Batteries died jumped it with a 300 start and ever since four wheel drive works half the time. How do I know if its my tccm for sure. Thanks in advance

This truck wouldn't work at all and the lights on the knob weren't on. I swapped one from another truck and it worked so we just bought a new one and took it to the dealer to have it programmed. Been fine ever since.
