ecm is toast. if the check engine light or glow plug light don't come on, that means the ecm is dead. all my dash lights came on except for those. i did the same thing. spent hours trying to find a fuse or bad connection. efi wouln't link up with it either. got a new ecm and it fired right up

sorry pat, but how is that possible with a lbz ecm? you switch to a lly or lb7 ecm? :confused:
ok, read thread all the way through. we have dsp5 for lbz and lmm???!!!!1
i got 6K into mine. cut coated LB7 pistons, keyed cam and crank, bore block, dual torque plate etc, misc new parts, arp studs, clevite bearings. stock rods. assembled myself. plus the cost of engine stand and misc tools needed for the job
