    Questions regarding SAC injectors

    Talk to Brent at LDS. He talked me into the sac45. They have been out a lot longer and almost no failures or complaints. Also cheaper. I got the install kit also. He is very knowledgeable on them. Worth the call. I do need tuning though. Very peppy throttle but more smoke than I want.

    Just crawl under there and see where it is coming from. Wipe everything down then start it up. Take a short drive and see if you can find the leak.

    most common place is one of the 3 hoses under the pump. Drivers side front. If so I would replace all 3.

    Took it for a short drive and all seems well just like it was before this all started. It was either everything on front needed changed or the abs. It was odd that the rotor and pads were not old and had a lot of meat left. Maybe a bad caliper led to the rotor and pads heating up and warped...

    I swapped pads from other side. Same result. I can also touch the pads and feel that the caliper is closed. Not tight but enough that the pads touch.

    Pads too thick? Same pads I had on there before this happened. Worth a shot will try tomorrow. Have to agree with Purehybrid that pads dragging that it would not have gotten that hot. Wheel would not spin to get that much resistance.

    Calipers, brackets and slides are all new. Hub spins fine without the caliper compressed. I guess I will look into the abs bleeding and try to cycle more fluid thru it in case air is trapped. Don’t know where to go from here except to take it to a shop. I am usually pretty good with brakes.

    If you want it for the attachments then your on the right track. If to cut lawn and plowing how about a zero turn and a separate plow , snowblower etc.
