    LML hole in the block, LMM short block swap?

    I'm looking at a 2012 duramax with a hole in the block. Do I need to find another LML or can I use the short block or long block out of the LMM I have already?

    upgrade hydro-boost?

    The hyro-boost on my LMM is leaking and I need to change it. I viewed a video on youtube showing a guy putting one from a 2011 model on a 2005 truck saying it was an upgrade, better and cheaper than the stock one. Is there any fact to this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDxso037Cf8

    New to me truck, EFI Live installed already?

    I just bought a 2007.5 3500HD 4x4 dually. The owner said it had no tuner installed on it that he knew of. It had a straight pipe exhaust though and in the glove box was a FlashScan V2 OBDII Cable and it seems to run pretty good. Is there anyway to find out what tune it has on it?

    C5500 engine question?

    I came across a complete 2010 Duramax out of a wrecked C5500 bus with 119k miles worth the money and wondered what the difference is between it and the LMM that's in the pickup trucks and what would I have to change to put it in an LMM pickup?

    I took the oil pump apart to inspect it while rebuilding the engine and found this little piece of metal in it. Do you have any idea what it is

    LMM Crankshaft thrust bearing clearance?

    I'm putting an LMM together and only have .0025 crankshaft endplay with new thrust bearings and .003" with the old ones. The spec is .0016-.0081 I've never checked an engine that had that little endplay before. Would this be to tight & cause a problem? Anyone else ran onto this?

    turbo heat shield or Sock?

    continually having to log in

    Is there a setting I can change so I don't have to keep logging in here if I'm away from this site for very long? I haven't timed it but it can be more than 15 minutes of idle time and I have to log back in and that doesn't set well.
