  • George, I happened to come across a bit of a conversation you had with Jeff (WSUcowboy) a few years ago.... I am having a lot of the same issues he described in his thread, but never saw a fix posted. I went to PM Jeff, but see that he has not been on here in years now either! Which is where I saw your convo. Do you recall what his issue was for sure and how he fixed it (if he did)?

    the o-ring was really hard, it was smooth on the inside and ribbed on the outside, when the filter came out the o-ring stayed in and i had to use a pick with quite a bit of pressure to get it out. It does have the PML pan and the filterlock was already installed, but it was definitely loose, when i put the new one in there was no movement at all, and yes it is the white/deep pan filter. Thanks again for your help george, I was pretty sure after talking to you on friday that you were GTMAX, but i wasnt sure. I am going to drive it a couple more days with the stock tune in it and hopefully the downshifts will loosen up and the flares will continue to stay away! -Jeff
