Put a Whipple on a 1500. Lots of low end power and a lot less weight. Probably better mileage too.- Dozerboy

Got a weekend trip tomorrow to San Antonio for a Taekwondo competition. Plan on going to Sea World and whatever else we have time for. L5p lifter failure
Still doesn't seem like a wide spread problem. So I still have faith in the Duramax. Definitely take it iver a Ram right now. Ford seems to be the only one without major mechanical issues right now. You just have to worry about fuel leaks that burn the trucks to the ground- Dozerboy

I had used oil analysis done on conventional oil Delo 400 probably 15 years ago and it made it 16k before Blackstone recommend changing it.- Dozerboy

I have never felt one was better then the other really. Wide spread fuel system issues wasn't an issue, so the filters where doing an adequate job of removing enough water to prevent damage by the suspensioned water. However if the claim is high moisture in the Bio is the issue then the filters...- Dozerboy

I have always felt the same way. The only thing I have seen that makes me question that now was an discussion on The Diesel Podcast. A panel member through out there that Biodiesel has higher moisture content. So the higher blending of Bio in Diesel is going to cause more fuel system issues...- Dozerboy
