xm antenna

im gettin my mirrors and handles painted this week and was wondering if you guys thought it would mess up the reception if i painted the xm antenna to match too. let me know what yiu guys think.

Isn't it made of the same plastic as the flares, bumper covers, mirrors, etc.? Looks the same anyway.

Not really those are made of like 90 perecnt urathane and other materials. light them on fire the relase isosynate gas aka syanide :eek: the antenas are made of a more rigid plastic wich could crack if painted or get eaten by the wrong type of coating. it also depends on the antena gxm30 is clear plastic and should never be painted and the other xm ones are black and are alittle more reseliant
