Mines a z71 as well, I did lift shocks up front An helped a little bit. Once after the wide wheels an negative offset I had to have it cranked so much to have some steering. That is when I got the harsh ride. I took it to the back yard to pull my 6.5 out an my old 94 rode better that was the end of that an ordered the lift. The quality for the zone looks very well put together considering it dnt anywhere near what most cost,I wanna say it was around 1400 shipped. Speaking of pitman dangit I need a new one thanks for reminding me.

Just got aligned today, pete said she rode just as good as stock would have. I haven't got to drive yet, will be Saturday when I get to drive it.

After I I stalled my zone 5" my dually rides just as good as when it was stock. I think it might ride a little nice and tows my 36' gooseneck just fine. No issues with my zone lift at all so far. I have my keys set about the same as they were from the factory.

Good to know I haven't got to drive it yet anxiously waiting. I'll be happy from how it rode before it was unbearable. I honestly could say my 94 1 ton rode way better then this truck.

Hope this answers any of your questions foss 28 no rubbing an no trimming all though I do have a different front bumper. Just leveled back up tonight back in for another alignment, who ever aligned it first was drunk or somthin and truck was tutoring keys were way off.

Bds makes zone lifts just for the record. The zone brand is their cheaper lift. That why it drops the torsion bars. I also wish now I'd have went a ntbd lift. But on the flip side there really wouldn't be that much clearance gain if they weren't dropped.

I am running the BDS 4.5" lift on my LLY and I have it set up where the CV axles and the tie rods are perfectly level. It does drop the torsion bars though, but it rides much nicer than stock or with cranked keys. It also moves the front wheels out about 2 inches but it can handle 17" wheels with 5.5" back space. They do make a version that doesn't move the wheels out near as much but it won't work with big offset wheels.
