My 2011 has both Z71 appearance and suspension but not color matched like the 2012 and up. In process of trying to figure out process of doing so. Gonna paint the steel chrome bumper but not wanting to risk painting over the plastic chrome crap. Im getting an OEM Z71 grill for 2013 so that takes care of that part. Looking for the Z71 upper cap on front bumper. Would be nice if already painted like the Z71 or a part number for a non chrome one would suffice as well. Cant find crap on these things. Must be rare.

Thanks for any help. Also if you need chrome grille or cap Im in central Ohio. LTZ model.

If done right it will be the same durability as an un chromed piece. I ran painted bumper plastics on my LMM and they were fine. Prepped correctly with etch primer.

No paint will withstand rock chips, regardless of substrate underneath.

Parts collected for the build. SoCal super damper, SoCal billet flex plate, SDP S400 kit, II 85% CP3, PPE manifolds/up pipes, PCV reroute. Slowly but surely lol
