My "roommate" loves driving my truck so much that I had to turn down the tune. I will never tell her what or where the dsp switch is. She frggin drives her hard, so I dont let her use it that often

My wife thinks I love my truck more than her and you know what if she decided to kick rocks I'd still have my truck. But for the most part she don't say much she just calls it diesel porn. She won't admit it but she loves the old beast she's mad a few of her own memories of the right foot kind. So I think my marriage and hobby are safe.

My wife drove it like she stole it all the time I knew when I twined it I'd have to do something. So my wife got her own tune in my DSP5 list. Rob laughed when I told him I needed a soccer mom tune.

I think my wife would be one hell of a drag racer, I just cant convince her to get behind the wheel at the track. Id be very happy to be "crew chief" if she ever wanted to.

She doesnt like driving my truck very much, but I know she's had fun behind the wheel a few times she's driven it. The kids told me so. :roflmao:

Yep. :D You should have seen her years ago behind the wheel of the Cavalier. The woman is a damn good driver. She'd be just like Kat. I sure as hell respect both those ladies' abilities.

BTW, I love that commercial. :) It is so damn true.

Thats awesome i love seeing the women helping out in the shop or driving the d max and liking it or racing.:thumb:

She helps to an extent that its "cute". She's not going to dive into turning wrenches with me and I like that. I dont need her voice dropping, chest deflating and hair getting buzzed off. Then again that is just a stereotype and many women mechanics are breaking it veryday.

My fiance and i actually had fights a couple years ago about how i spent waaaaay more on the truck, wouldnt take her to dinner or things like that cause i was counting pennys for parts lol.

Now shes kinda over it and just rolls her eyes when i say i want to do something to it or it needs a part. Ive been better at takin her out though :D. Least shes jumping on the truck bandwagon though, we are gunna sell her car next year and start trying to find a factory 5.3 colorado :woott:

My fiance just calls it "dieseling" whether I'm on the forum, on FB, or going to an event. She could care less as long as there aren't a ton of "truck sluts" there and I come home at a reasonable time somewhat sober

Mine I hate to say it but she likes to black smoke people.I was hauling a tandam full of trees and landscaping back when I had the edge hot juice forgot I had it on lvl 6 and there was a guy that looked like santa riding 1 of those bikes you peddle in the front and steer with the back and you kind of lean back in the seat. Now mind you it was a 2 lane county highway and he was riding in the road which happen to be parallel to a bike path not 50 ft to his side.On coming traffic had me creaping behind him and cussing him up 1 side and down the other.Finaly a break in traffic but I had to get on it as there was a car coming , never even crossed mind about the smoke untill she started laughing her ass off, I look in the mirror and I see him riding off the road finally riding out of the black cloud of death jumped off his bicycle shaking his fist at us and cussing me out.I still say that was the day she started to love the diesel.......for the wrong reasons but I've told her smoke inst good and she knows it makes us look bad but she said sometimes theres people out there need it.
