Broke my rear yoke and both ujoints tonight and was wondering how much torture the 1480 yokes from Randy's ring and pinion and merchant would take ?

I wouldn't get then from Randy's. I had trouble with three of them loosening up under normal driving creating slop in the ujoint. This lead to a terrible vibration at highway speed. They warrantied it twice but it still did it. I ended up finding a genuine one inline from a Chevy dealer in I think California. It was cheaper than anywhere else and has held up. All season has a really nice piece too. Not cheap but I don't think you will break it. For the amount of time and money I wasted using the ones from Randy's I could have just bought Tony's and forgot about it being a weak spot anymore.

I went with a GM 1480 yoke on my dd/workstock puller and never had any problems. Just make sure to use new straps and bolts and you should also replace them every time you pull the driveshaft out.

I haven't decided which one i'm going with on my puller yet though. I'll probably go with the billet piece from all season.

Thanks guys that's enough info for my decision . I will order the stuff from merchant today . This is all the power I plan to make until my block gives out and my drive shaft has already been upgraded to steel I was just to tight to do new yokes . Lol
