I was thinking about mounting a yellow LED light bar in my front bumper for use in fog and snow. I'm on backroads most of the time so i'm not worried about blinding other drivers. I had 3000k 35w HIDs in my factory fog lights and they worked great but i ended up getting water in my fog lights when i was using them and had to replace the housings. Don't really want to have to replace them again so was hoping someone else has a yellow LED light bar and can give me some feedback on them. Does anyone make a yellow LED light bar with decent light output that doesn't cost a fortune? :thankyou:

Something like this? 6 inch light bars off of Amazon.

Something like that or bigger maybe. I'm thinking I'd mount it in the centre of the bumper. Guess i should go measure it to see what size i can fit in there.

Totron Sells lightbars and 7 different color lense covers depending on what you need.

I'm a dealer for Totron, mostly sell to buddies that don't want to pay a grand for a 20" lightbar from rigid industries. :D

I've read that the covers cut down light output but it probably doesn't matter much for my use. What kinda $ for a 20" two row? Would a 20" fit in the middle of a GMC bumper? What about a curved bar in there?

My cost is about 100 bucks, have yet to have a failure with these brand.

Others use the Rigid amber LED light bar for better visibility in fog or snow though this stuff is expensive. Superbrightleds has something similar to it though have no idea about the quality.
