It better. When I tightened it, I pretty much planted my feet against the axle housing, stuck an 18" breaker bar onto the nut and put 290 lbs to work..... :rofl:

Gonna play hell gettin it off now. Probably galled the shit out of the U bolt threads.

you can use two nuts on each side to keep them from backing out, and it dont have to be tight at all

wes tested clamps at the track with a 2wd, reg cab lond bed, with a big tune, stock trans and about 5k-6k lbs (maybe more) of shit in the bed :rofl:


and a ladder rack to boot :rofl:

I'll let him answer, but in most experiences yes they help. I run traction bars and they helped a ton.

yes they do.. you can run the front side 100% of hte time as well. notice increase brakeing and throttle/go respone onthe road
