I have a 6.7 as well as two duramaxs. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. I like the mpg and ride of the duramaxs, but come towing time I find myself in the Ford more often than not. I like your 6.4. Looks good.

I was really close to getting a 6.4 but got the lbz instead. My buddy dave at draconian diesel bought that 6.4 and he is faster than me stock for stock by a good bit. Haven't run since I added the lift pump. But I think he would still walk. With compounds I will walk away. We did mcc custom tuning full egr deletes and an intake and boost tubes. It's a beast for sure.

I went to the Starlights EFI Live school with Dave in Amarillo texas.

How did you like that class? Sorry off topic

It was good cleared up any questions I had on things that werent perfectly clear. since then I have tuned close to a 100 rigs, some with big injectors and some with twins. and no issues to date, did have one guy from a known fuel shop there that wasted alot of time talking about non tune related stuff. finally Zach shut him down and basically said lets stay on track with tuning LOL theres always one in every crowd.

My old truck was the red 6.7 cummins that they dynoed at that event. Right before the trans quit on me. Could only get like 490 HP but over 1100 tq. Lol. She was slipping bad. Ran a 13.6 with35" mud tires with just deletes and efi live.

Couldn't make the class and I am a tuning yard lol. Wish I could have gone though. Bout to put the twins on and would be nice to tune myself. Gonna tune safe though. Don't wanna crack a piston. Just shooting for low 12 for now. Yeah. Decided to get one of each of the big 3 for tuning reasons. Dave kept his 6.7 cummins then got the 6.4 and I'm the Dmax mule.

Nice! I almost went to the one in Brady last year but there was a schedule conflict.

Pretty cool truck. That's a lot of weight to get moving that fast down the old 1320:thumb::thumb:

I sure loved our 7.3 trucks, had some front end issues on the 2000 and 2001 but overall excellent trucks, then we had 2 6.ohno's and he fords left the ranch for good.

I have been in a buddies 6.4 with a Spartan 250, pretty stout back then and he is bigger and badder after blowing head gaskets and studing it
