No way of knowing who tuned your truck if you don't know it's going to be pretty tough to find out.

Yes just ground it anywhere. That wire from the heater is 12v

Is 03-04 different because my 02 didn't.

well you "had" one at some point. My 02 had one and i deleted it. 2001 Cummins drain plug screws right in place of the heater.

it never made a difference on cold start but will set codes once its undone. hell i was just in 20* weather up north over night and no glow plugs, no AIH, no block heater and it started right up with just a little coughing. pretty sure it coughed harder up there when it was a lb7, had glow plugs and stock injectors lmao

yes i know its an old post but Sean cant go on living without me telling him he had one :roflmao:

Ok I wired it all up and cel stil coming on
The worst part is I soldered and heat shrank everything trying to do best I could
Is the light supposed to stay on the whole time the truck is running
I used an led so it's bright for about 5-6 seconds then real dim because after the few seconds it still has about 5v coming out now I dont mind if it stays on dim but is it not stopping the CEL because I used an led or what I'm kinda stuck

Thanks I'll change it out tomorrow and hope it works
Does it mater what size bulb? Will a 194 work or does it need to be bigger?

My quote was in reference to the other guy saying you have to use efilive to turn off the code, so I said "is 03-04 different because mine didn't" and by that I mean mine didn't set a code when removed, I just cut the wire and removed it. :thumb:
