I carry the XDS 45. It is great for concealed carry also shoots quite well with hardly any recoil in my big hands.before this gun came out I carried the Glock 27 40 cal. And if I had to choose choose one from another I believe I would have to pick the XDS knowing what I do now about both of them. Also about not be able to purchase a Glock in Cali, here in florida Glocks are well supplied in all gun shops across the state.

I have both glock model 21 .45 & Springfield xd .40. I will agree the 40 xd feels much better in the hand then the block of wood model 21 glock. When I shoot them @ defensive pistol practice range I always have better shot patterns @ 10, 15, 20, 25 & 30 yds with the glock. The glocks are proven to be excellent and the xd is a near knock off design. I really like the feel of the xd I just wish I could shoot it a little better.
