A little, but a lot of these assholes with low mileage motors (10-50k) want that just for the motor.

I'd rather just buy a doner at that point. Refresh the motor before it goes back in if need be.

I paid $5500 for a 2006 crew cab w/t 4x4 but it had 300k miles and the motor was covered in oil and other shit that a pressure washer couldn't remove. $7500 isn't great but not bad, it looks like a really clean motor with a third of the miles as mine. Hopefully it runs as good as it looks

I bought the motor and tranny for $7600

Anyone have an idea of who can build this motor ? (Pistons, Rods, Head Studs, AF Cam)

I am in Louisiana. I don't mind driving to Texas or Oklahoma.

I have a lot going on at the shop right now, but I can take care of you if you aren't in a hurry. However, I would just like to say that if you will be happy with a 12-13 second truck, you can easily do that with a stock motor.

That would be great. I am not in a hurry.

I think I want to build this motor. I know I might can get away with getting a 12 second stock truck but with my luck its just not worth it to me do this twice. Having the donor motor out I would really want to do pistons, rods, lml crank, AF cam and head studs and rebuild the transmission. I know this would be more than enough for my needs I just don't want to max out the stock motor and have something happen.

I understand, and I can definitely handle all of that. I'll PM you my contact info if you want to call and talk about it a little more in depth.
