Okay so, I have a 2004 lb7 ccsb. A couple weeks ago I hit some ice and rolled it... Now I don't really know what to do. It had a 190,000 on it and it was in perfect shape, no rust no dents with few scratches. Now there is not a good body panel left. The motor still runs good transmission is a suncoast g-max 5 with precision convertor, still looks to be in great shape. Rear end is also still good with a torsional posi carrier. Im not sure if I should start over and part this one out or if I should find a donor truck and swap everything over? What is your guys opinion? I did find an LLY that needs a motor for 5,000 with 250,000 miles. Im kinda at a loss, any help is greatly appreciated.

Buy it back for cheap. Gut it and sell the rest for scrap. Decide from there depending what you find

Yes I had full coverage on it, and they told me $15,000 if they take the truck and $11,600 if I keep it... I told them to try again, I gave them $8,000 worth of receipts for the driveline work and they reimbursed me $128

Anyone know of a donor truck for sale or even a nice 5 speed truck with a junk tranny?

I have done the buy back and cab swap, its at the body shop now. For me quite a bit of work, but I had a lot going at once with motor swap and such, went from 01 lb7 to an 06 cab, lly built motor and much more. Would I do it again probably not. I would have bought it back, parted out what was good, scrapped the rest, and started with another truck. However there is literally not one nut or bolt that I have not touched...
