I acquired a billet ats flex plate from a friend. Hick Town creations"built" and installed his trans and not very long after he got it home the torque convertor bolts came loose and eventually sheared off/came undone. Needless to say another one of their screw ups needed fixed. Anyhow this brings me to my question. I have my trans out now changing some parts out and was thinking about using this billet flex plate. I can see a couple of the holes in it, for the torque bolts, are a bit oblong. But not bad. The bolts have more movement in the stock flex plate. And also on the surface of this billet flex plate its scored a bit all the way around from it rubbing the torque convertor after the bolts let loose. So my question is should i chance using this or stick with my already installed BD flexplate? Max 650rwhp this truck will see. Heres a pic. Thanks guys in advance. Decisions decisions.
