I have a friend with a lifted Dmax (8" Fabtech on 37"x22's) with a 68mm Cheetah, FASS, EFI tuning, 4" exhaust ran 13.6 at RMR last year.

Bear in mind that you will probably not go out and run as fast as your truck is capable of your first time to the track. It takes a lot of time and effort to get your truck dialed in and running like it is capable of. Last year when I got twins I was running 12.6s and 12.7s at first. Over the course of a couple of months, with a lot of time and effort tuning and help and advice from some good friends, I finally got it down to the 12.0s and 12.1s. I think I could have gotten an 11 on the stock engine if it hadn't popped a piston.

Anyway, I'm just saying, don't get disappointed and frustrated if it doesn't run as fast as you think it should your first time out. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

wow i knew it made a differance, but not that much of one

Yep, it is the biggest internet debates over the years. Comparing vehicles run at different tracks across the country. In the winter some of the east coasts tracks will actually get a negative DA. The DA hurts naturally aspirated vechicles more then say turbo, supercharged, or ones with bottles though:D

So for the true test you can only compare what everone else is running the same day as you at the same track.

so ur sayin altitude can make over a second differance?

Altitude just sucks the power out of an engine. The figure given for a turbo engine is 2% per 1000' elevation. I'm at 7,000' and feel the difference just going down to 4,000. Driving at sea level my gas truck felt like it had a whole new engine. And at low elevation the DMax feels a lot stronger.
