you will not hurt your engine with a max effort tune and a S475. Unless you do not run proper tuning

Paint how do you figure? Are you saying this, by keeping stock cp3, I am doing a set of 45% nozzles too so. The lower pw and timing will help me too right?

My tuner has installed several S475s on stock engine trucks so far no problems on any of them. My boost is 46-48 psi, for some reason if the boost happens to be on the high side, 55+ the tuning can be modified to get it down to an acceptable level. One truck in particular I know of is Drholliday, chris, his truck has had an S475 for a while and has been used to test countless tunes and now has dual fuelers. Also with a big single you somewhat avoid the big low end torque that bends rods so easily. you have just enough lag to get you up in the rpms a little which in turn helps the bottom end live.

Yea, I'm getting more and more persuaded just to go to a 475 and not look back lol

I can tell you right now being limited by stock internals the truck will feel slow again after a little bit even with the 475 and leave you wanting more :D just get the turbo you want put it on and have fun with it,if it makes you want more build the motor. As far as the truck breaking I think we all know when pushing these trucks to the edge that it's going to break at some point it's just how much abuse it's going to take before it does.I wouldn't let that stop you just be ready for it if it does happen.
