What exactly are you trying to do?

FYI, shutting off vats in the ECM will not prevent the security light from coming on. It merely keeps the ECM from listening to the bcm when it tells it to shut off the truck.

VATS won't stop it from cranking, it will still crank, just not fire.

For a 2005 LLY:

Looks like the relay is supposed to get power from "IGN E" through the clutch switch and on to the ECU, and from "IGN A" on to the starter.

If the relay clicks when you try to start, then check the wire to the starter. If it doesn't click, check the "CRANK" fuse. Good luck!

If you jump the solenoid to make it turn over, does it start?

My 05 did the exact same thing, no crank, sec light was on, and I could hear a faint clicking...ended up being an old alarm system I hadn't used in over a year..found the old key fob and "disarmed" it..fired right up...just an idea.

At some point I tripped the alarm that was no longer hooked up (at least the siren part), it also had a battery delete.

It starts when sylinoid is jumped out and key in run, we jumped the starter relay and it cranked so the purple signal wire is good. When the ignition relay in we have a humming coming from somewhere we can't pinpoint. The starter ray started my brother truck. We have constant power to the 30 pin on starter relay, so has to be not getting signal from the other 2 wires to engage the relay?

So look at 85 or 86 I'm not sure whatever the green wire is. That will be constant hot too if your clutch switch works. If that's hot then your not getting the Ecm ground signal for some reason. Or opposite that, could not be getting the clutch switch voltage. Maybe a broke wire there or a faulty switch

Carried everything out from the house that was in the dash and plugged it all back in and found a plug that went to no where, plugged it in and it starts now
:whisle:
I found it jake plugged it in, I call it a team effort.

That was Corbins first guess, thanks everyone and sorry I wasted everyone's time lol. It's a big plug that wraps behind the guage cluster and doubles back toward the column.

But now I see my uppipe is blown out, more work ahead. Split the seam on the bottom split from the manifold to the bellow.
