WIX oil filters for a buck?

Ok... maybe more than a buck...but not much...

Went to OReillys this AM for a filter... I asked them for part #PF2232 (AC Delco oil filter)

Then I asked for part #PF2232F (AC Delco oil filter 12 pack).

They cross ref'd those numbers and came back with WIX 57202MP (MP is Master Pack)... and had a list price for $12.99... so I ordered a pack...

I just got home this PM with 12 brand spankin' new WIX filters (57202) and laid out all of $13.63...

The manager just kept shaking his head... saying, "Yup... that's right..."

I'm glad I didn't post this yesterday... I'm sure more than one of ya would have called April Fool on me...

I looked online under my local store, said that number for the Wix pack was invalid.

Looks like the price has gone up since yesterday... still $17.99 isn't bad for a case of filters...

I got to thinking about it... IIRC what happened is I ordered the PF2232F (AC Delco) for $12.99 and they crossed it over to 57202 (WIX) when they shipped my special order from their local warehouse to my local store...

When I search mine, the WIX filters don't come up. I can get the 57202 for $15.00 EACH, or the PF2232 for $8.99. The PF2232F comes up as $17.99, but it says for 1 filter when I look in the description. Going to call my local store and see if they can get teh 57202MP or not as I prefer WIX to AC DELCO for oil.

Just called my local store, and have them coming for $12.99 for the 57202MP. They don't show up on the website, but call the store and they can get them. They get $15.99 per filter buying them individually, but $12.99 for 12. Somebody made a BIG screw up. Hope to get mine before they catch it.

Just called my local store and he found a protex number for a 12 pack fleet case for 68 bucks. But he can't find the 57202 number or 57202mp

Haha i just called my local o'reilly and gave him the 57202MP nimber and he has two cases coming, 24 oil filters for 26$ im thinking i should mass order them and re sell hahah

Closest O'Reilly is 70 miles away according to there store locater, or I would be ordering a couple cases

ON EDIT: Yep. Had to walk the clerk thru it to find the listing, and even she didnt believe it. Have three cases coming tomorrow, unless OReilly management catches it before I get out of work.

I've got 2 cases ordered. Had to call 3 oriellys around me lol. I think it's the way it come up in their computers. One store said 68 for a case and 12.99 each filter.
