Wow, like a bunch of thieves here, so if I were to accidently leave my keys in the truck that gives you the right to just hop in and drive off with it, right?

Sorry Mother Teresa.

On the other hand I've been screwed over on a bunch of parts and I'm sure they couldn't care less. So a few free filters? Sure why not.

I also came across this earlier.

Says pack of 12. I might take the gamble.

No, but if you had $2000 listed on a truck for sale instead of $20000 and I bought it, that's YOUR fault not mine.

And it begs the question where is your moral compass?

^x2
Stealing a truck just cause the keys in it and getting cheap oil filters because of a computer error or dumb sales people's is far from each other on the spectrum of phucked up..

OK, so I left a case of filters in the bed and you took them, theft is theft

That's Pope Cosmos to you son.

So what your stating theft is OK due to your stupidity on previous transactions and that justifies you actions?

How are we thieves? We are paying asking price for them. If anyones a thief its the parts stores. Mark up on most filters is 75%. Way different man

X2 we call up there and say do you have these? They say yes they're this much. Then we go there and PAY for them. Doesn't matter how much they are. They're still being bought with our hard earned money.

We had a garage sale a few years back... Julie had marked prices on things previous to opening the doors... First customer in picked up a gold, Italian made necklace with a small diamond attached... Julie had put $.50 on the price, why I don't know...

I sold that hundred dollar necklace for fifty cents... It was our screw up...

If she hadn't bought it I would have re-priced it...

I asked repeatedly when I picked up my first case of filters, "you're sure this is correct?!?" Manager just laughed and confirmed the price... Then began looking for filters for his vehicle...

I don't see it as theft at all. Way underpriced, yeah maybe so. But each filter in that pack is payed for. It's not paying the $12.99 for one filter and the rest are free

No go for me as well, store only received one box anyway. Guy said there's no way I can sell you the whole case for 12.99, and the individual I talked to on the phone was "highly mistaken". He did offer to knock off $2 per filter for the confusion. So I bought 6 while I was there

So I gave this a shot last night and sure enough they list for 12.99 for a case of 12. Not in stock but was able to order them. Got 3 cases coming my way, let's see if they actually give me 36 filters.... Also used my 5 dollar reward coupon and paid 36 bucks out the door for 3 cases. The guy at the counter was like no way this is right, but that's what the computer says. We'll see once they show up. Shipping from GA.

So I went to pickup my filters and the kid comes back with one case and wants to hand me two filters. I say it's two cases , he goes back to get the second case. He couldn't find it, now gets the manager involved. It goes downhill from there. The manager says he cannot find it on the OReilly's web site. He wants to give me only two filter. I said no it was on your web site Monday . Now it's gone. He said if I have a screen shot he would honor it.

Anybody take a screen shot on Monday?
Cause now I can't find it either .

Figure if I get 2 cases, that's awesome. If I get 2 filters, obviously not as awesome, BUT at least I tried. :roflmao:
