Winter Project time

Just thought I'd post up what's going to be keeping me busy this winter. My current truck is an LMM with a fully built motor.

I just picked up an 07 CCSB Lbz from Wyoming and had it shipped to me here in VT. The truck is loaded with sunroof and rear dvd.

The unfortunate about the lbz is it broke its crank so I bought it non running.

It's currently got
-wcfab billet s480/stock
-efi live
-built sun coast trans
-$1200 in audio equipment
-airdog 165
-had tie rods
-Pisk cognito braces
-bilstein shocks
-profab log style headers and up pipes
- ton of gauges.

Well my original plan was to take the drivetrain out of the LMM and toss it in the Lbz (that way I'd have a paid off truck) and sell the LMM in stock form. However I'm not sure if that's the route I'm going to go with this or not I guess I'll know more once I tear into this.

Here's some pictures of both

It was in afton. Forum member posted it up here and we spent a couple months figuring out how to get it back to VT. Ended up all working out and I'm glad I waited. The trucj is surprisingly clean!

I love your Lmm truck! Cool project either way it turns out. But personally I'd keep the Lmm. Fix the lbz and sell it

I can see it either way. My LB7 is payed off and that is very nice. However, I liked the looks of my 2011 better. All depends on what is going to fit your finances best.

Yeah I'm thinking this may be the plan. Pull the parts off the Lbz and sell it stock. I love the LMM too much at this point.

Or you could just make me a super sweet deal on your Lmm

Yeah I'm in no hurry to get rid of either so we'll see where this goes. Heck I might just rebuild the Lbz and let the fiancé drive it! Would be badass to both have black twin turbo duramaxes!

I agree fix the lbz sell it for payoff for the lmm. Or somewhat close to payoff depending how much is owed.

That's probably what will happen. I've never owned a gmc before though and always loved them with a Denali conversion... I'm torn lol

what kind of headlights and fog lights do you have in the lmm?

Fogs are just stock lenses with hids. The headlights are a black housing clear lens light off eBay. So far no condensation or issues with them but I'm not sure that'll last forever since they are a realitivley inexpensive headlight.

I am glad my purchase helped you buy that truck. Id go into the motor, check everything out, put an LML crank and associated parts back in, and call it a day.
