About to buy a few Kryptonite products but before I dropped 1.5k on some parts wanted to see what you guys thought. I have a 2013 lml leveled on 33x12.5R20s with -44 offset and when I hit the brakes 50% of the time the front end will shake and my steering isn't as tight as it should be I just replaced my idler arm and bracket with the MOOG problem solver yesterday and went to change the pitman and realized the rubber bushing in the center link is worn the **** out and torn up so I realized you have to buy a whole new center link instead of just the rubber bushing so I was going to buy the Kryptonite SS series center link and tie rod package, Kryptonite upper control arms, and Kryptonite lower ball joints. was wondering if you guys think I would be wasting my money due to the fact ill still have the MOOG idler arm, bracket, and pitman, And if it would stop the shaking every time I press the brake and take the play out of the steering thanks!

Shaking when stepping on the brakes usually is warped rotors. You may need front end parts too. Tires may also be an issue, only apparent while braking due to weight transfer on to the front tires.

I replaced the rotors about 5 months ago and it only happens randomly and will pull to the right when it does shake.

rubber bushing in the center link is worn the **** out and torn up so I realized you have to buy a whole new center link instead of just the rubber bushing

None of my 4 GM trucks have had bushings on the center link.

Pitman arm has 1 ball joint with rubber boot, idler arm has 1 ball joint with rubber boot, both tie rods have rubber boots on each end, one on the 90 degree ball joint and one on the inline ball joint.

Are you certain that the center link has rubber bushings? I know the steering dampers have bushings just like shocks, but cannot think of where you would have rubber bushings in the steering linkages. Is the truck lifted with a solid front axle conversion?

I may not be a bushing not sure what it is but I’ve called every where trying to buy one I have the diagnostic and the few people called it a bushing but it looks more just like a rubber boot like u said in the center link itself the link will have a picture of the center link with the rubber part at the end where the pitman arm goes through and the 2013 are different

Get a center link from a crew cab that doesn't have the rubber isolator.

So you need part number 11 from this diagram?

https://www.gmpartswarehouse.com/au...e/steering-cat/steering-gear-and-linkage-scat

It's only $5.
