I have a 02 cp3 laying around that I know is a good pump. The cp3 on my 05 LLY is shot. Does anyone know if the LB7 cp3 will work on my LLY?

The LB7 regulator plug I guess is the same? I had planned on it any way. Is there any gaskets I have to have or parts before I tear down? There are some slight internal differences but it will work. Truck won't know the difference. Use the lb7 regulator.

Ok I'll pick those sockets up tomorrow when snap on comes thru...so the cp3 has no mating gasket or o ring? Just didn't want to take it off and not be able to get what I needed.Might be a good idea to replace the rubber fuel lines while you're in there. I usually do if the have any dry rot or cracks. Besides that it's pretty straight forward. A 10 and 12mm 1/4" drive wobble socket will be your best friends.

Put your LLY FPR on the pump and go on your way. Can't run the LB7 one on an LLY like mentioned above.
Thx for all the info guys...not sure if my regulator on the lly is any good so I was gonna use the LB7 because I know it's good...I may have to purchase a lly fpr...some say u can and some say u cant use it but I don't wanna tear down if I can't use the LB7 fpr.Put your LLY FPR on the pump and go on your way. Can't run the LB7 one on an LLY like mentioned above.
