Caldwell , Oh
I will be dynoing my truck with the mods on my sig next thursday or friday at Enterprise Engine Performances dyno . All that is done to my transmission is a transgo kit . I have a suncoast Gmax6-3 kit sitting here so I don't care if I have to be towed home , but was wondering who all thinks I will still be driving this thing afterward ?

id say yes. just because its a lbz:D. you prob will see 500hp max because of the trans holding you back. get some video

i see no issue with you driving it back, worst case you clear the codes due to a limp

Caldwell , Oh
The tuning is aggressive enough to set a p0087 code at the end of the pulling track . It was fine tuned several times via data logging . I will try to take my dad or somebody to video it .

Good luck Adam

There dyno is tight! It will drag your truck down to nothing if you want it to!!! Trust me I know! On there dyno i'm going to say 500 to 525. I think the tranny will be fine. Call me and let me know how it goes. Thanks Jeff

I will Jeff . This is kinda a research thing . I am going to do my mods for next year and get the tuning down . Then I am taking it back to see what kind of improvements I made .

Well it made 522hp ( Jeff you were scary close on your prediction ) and 970tq on the tune I pulled with all year it set a code every run on that level . We had another tune that had a shorter pw so it wouldn't set a fuel rail code it made 532hp and 970 tq .The transmission didn't limp and seemed fine .We dynoed in 4th gear for fear of the trans though .

Whoops didn't see you ran it. Good numbers, get the transmission built then give her hell. I'm still waiting to see what she's got with all the new goodies;)

I prefer to dyno in 5th. Every time I've tried to dyno in 4th, the run was over before the truck ever really started to build boost. Besides that, there's really no reason that 4th gear would hold power any better than 5th as long as you don't let the transmission shift.

Caldwell , Oh
it was easier to keep it from down shifting in 4th . Then to top the day off when I got home my profab manifolds , up pipes and egr delete were sitting on my doorstep . GOOD DAY!!!

On a load dyno like a superflow, the load percentage should be increased until you make the boost that you want, then you know it will make acurate numbers. If they cant/wont load you enuf, 5th gear can help. Sometimes dyno operators dont want to keep trying more load because its more time and wear on their equipment for the same cost as just 1 or 2 runs! I've always dynoed in 4th gear
