There us just something about Diesels and Hot women! I guess both smoke a little. Lol I have a turbo gas version for my kids. I may need to drive one if these and see what I think.

Keeping my wifes cruze stock for now until she is out of warranty, which wont take long with her mileage.

Makes me feel better about my decision.

peer pressure, come play with the cool kids.

I came to the realization its my wifes car and she puts on over 100 miles a day so she needs mileage. The mods don't necessarily hurt mileage, but her foot is a bit heavy so give her more torque and she'll use it and then blame me for why it gets worse MPG's.

Good to hear you like it. My wife wants one as well. We're trying to sell our TBSS and get a new cruze. I'm trying to talk her into a diesel, but she want the LTZ package, but maybe we can just order one that has all the bells and whistles :thumb:

You know the TD is barely a step down (options wise) from an LTZ. I think it's pretty much the same as an LT2. With leather, MyLink, blind side alerts, sunroof, Nav, and backup camera as options, I'm not sure what the LTZ does have aside from different wheels. The wheels on the TD are nicer than the Eco model anyhow. The RS package is pretty cool IMO as far as the gasser offerings but only 2k cheaper and not as efficient!

Yea I don't think there is much diefferance either, but she is stuck on an ltz, so it might just take some more swaying to get her to get the diesel one. And more efficient would be a plus seems how she commutes 100 miles round trip everyday.

Ours is the same except gray metallic with sunroof and black leather instead of the white. I love this car as well. We have had it three days now and never thought to look what turbo it had lol. Looks good btw

I also agree I probably won't start upgrades til the warranty is out. Guy at the dealership named Wes said fleece has a 300hp tune not sure if its true though. Also heard a diesel Colorado in the works, straight six. That would be sweet.

I think after she drives one she will be pushed over the edge. You also can play the cost of ownership card...once again the TD beats the gas option.

Thanks for the compliments man! Glad y'all are enjoying yours as well. Isn't the Diesel Canyon/Colorado supposed to be out later this year? I swore that's the last I heard.

I'm not sure on when. I just found out when we got this. Wonder who is gonna supply the motor? Surly not Cummins we would never hear the end from the dodge pushers.

It'll be a GM version from VM Motori. GM owns half the company, might as well get something out of it:)

Holy hell I didn't know they made Duramax's motors so small. That's pretty neat. How come people don't drop them in other vehicles?

I'm paying close to 4.50/ gal for diesel, i can't see the justification for buying diesel over the gas. Maybe one of you guys can break down the numbers for me
