Picked up an 06 LBZ with 98k from a buddy of mine and did the following:

Kory Willis Tune EFI Live
Calvin's Transmission
Mishimoto Intercooler
Mishimoto Radiator
Mishimoto Hot Side Pipe
Mishimoto Boot Kit
Mishimoto Radiator Piping
Pro Fab Up Pipes
Sinister EGR Delete with boost tube
Down Pipe
Full Exhaust
2015' 20's
Sound Deadened the entire truck (This is time consuming) along with full audio, ran wires ran direct, dvd player ect, new carpet ect

On Christmas morning my wife decided to take her Grandmother a plate of food.... Even though we were going by afterwards. I thought about telling her just to wait but it was Xmas so I did not say anything. She called me and told me that she had wrecked my truck in the ditch. Truck was complete for about seven days and it now totaled.

All the damage was cosmetic thankfully. I have to give a major shout out to MISHIMOTO. Mishimoto replaced my intercooler and radiator free, with just shipping charges. I am 95% both my radiator and intercooler and good. Truck never took a head on impact she glanced a tree that made a V shape and part of the V caught the bed. If it caught the cab it would have been all over.
I am awaiting the 2nd quote on the truck currently. If anyone knows anyone that does good body work and is straight up in the Louisiana area let me know.
I took the truck the best body man I know a good buddy of mine but doesn't own the shop. The owner knows I got insurance money so he gave me an estimate that was just about an insulting. Things like coolant recovery tank costing $60 he wants $125. Guy said he had to pull the dash and my buddy said he did not hit me for 12 hours on that- guy was just trying to screw my brains out.

So the truck spent three weeks wasted over there. I am still waiting another quote from a body shop here in the Louisiana area. Since the whole front clip, passenger side doors, doors and tailgate have to be painted I am going to paint the entire truck. I hope this guy comes back with a decent quote.

Sorry to hear what happened to the truck. Hope you can get it taken care of for a good price.

How much of a difference does sound deadening the cab make? I've been thinking about doing that to mine. What material did you use?

TX of course
Where you at in Louisiana I know we have a few member that live in the Lake Charles area.

Are you paying out of pocket? My wife wrecked my truck in a similar way, but most of the damage was to the bed. The cab was buffed out with painless dent removal for the dents. Good shops where quoting me $12K knowing I'm a perfectionist. Half rate shops gave me a quot of substantially less but the work would have been poor quality.

My wife is perfectly fine.

I am located in Baton Rouge. I would be paying cash.

The sound deadening of the cab was a tremendous improvement not only with sound but with temperature especially over the tunnel.. It took me well over 30 hours to do the entire truck but if you plan on keeping your truck for a while I guess its worth it. I also put new carpet in with added mass backing its not far off db wise inside the cabin from my wife's 335i

I used Fat Mat off Amazon. I read thread after thread about Fat Mat vs. Dynamat vs. this brand its all the same. I have used three brands on vehicles and never noticed a difference between them That **** will slice your hands with that tin foil outer coating. The audio sounds great with the sound deadening. I up pipes, down pipe with straight exhaust and with the windows up you can barely hear anything.
