Just throwing it out there. not sure which is better for our application. Wanting 900 to 1000hp eventually. Not sure after reading several threads so i am asking again. Already have the duel fueler from PPE just needing to replace stock location pump. What would support this level of hp better.?

That's a LARGE difference in pumps. :) I'd say it'll be easier with the big pump.

You gonna have one modded pump and one stock one? If so, I'd stick the stock in the valley and put the modded one up on the PPE bracket. Reason being, sometimes the modded pumps (not necessarily talking about Wicked's pumps) are less reliable and may have problems that need corrected moreso than a stock pump and, as you know, it'll be MUCH easier to swap out the modded pump if it's up top and not down in the valley. ;)

So, has that power level been achieved with two stock LBZ pumps? Probably but it would surely be easier, from a fuel supply stand point, to do it with at least one modded pump in the pair.

That's my $0.02 with no personal experience at those power levels but have been around some of the most modified pumps around.

I'm glad someone asked this because I have a modded pump and a stock pump. I was told that I can't run the modded pump in the valley. I've been told wrong things before though. So do you know this for sure?

Larry , 2 stock pumps will make 1k easy with the turbo's you will have , and may push you to 1200hp with that stroker motor  , you have no idea what your in for with the turbo combo thats heading your direction :D I hope your up for blowing the tires loose when you roll into it at 70 mph :cool2: My truck is far less than the stroker truck and it is damn near scary fast , i wont even got WOT unless the 4wd button is pushed  but damn what a rush !

Have to agree with Trent. You can make way over a 1000hp with two stock cp's. Obviously it the size of the injectors and pulse width you have to watch. We have to of the wicked pumps and are working on the same issue now.

Thanks for all the help guys. i can always count on the members here to help without bias answers.

You keep telling me how much this thing is going to do just makes me want to buy one for myself. I guess in the end its better building these things for someone else, I get to build it, order all kinds of cool stuff for them, drive them to "test :thumb:" them and then give them to the owner and never spend any money:happy2: I couldn't ask for a better "side" job.

Even on my own truck i had no idea what to expect from just changing the turbo's out , for the huge twins . really that the only major part difference from last year to this year for HP . I have about the same amount of fuel as i did last year really , the first time I went WOT all i could say is Holy f%^$ This thing is fast :happy2: , then immediately did it again , and agian ,and again , I wouldnt throw too many parts at it once either ,it can make it tough to diag if you run into a snag or issue , do the turbo's and then add the pumps latter if your having rail pressure issue's with the big tunning , JMOP take it for what its worth

I have always trusted your opinion. I just had worries of the stock pump with 155,000 miles on it and I am right there so I was going to replace it. Just didn't know really what to go with. I think the stock LBZ will work fine. That is what I was originally going to do so I guess I will stick with my plan. Thanks again.

So I have to ask a question, not trying to side track what your asking. What about 600HP with a stock CP3, should a person consider installing a new modded pump in the valley for this HP? The engine I'm referring to is in teardown mode right now and I want to do this right only once.:thumb:

I would say 600rwhp can be done on a LBZ stock pump with the right setup
