Why You Need To Replace Oil Cooler

Bringing this back from the dead, my oil pressure isn’t low to the point of danger but it gets down in the mid 50’s on a good hard run, before my piston swap the trans and engine would heat up fairly quickly and they are not, ran down the wife last night after changing out a flat just to run the truck hard finally and oil pressure got down to 53 wfo but motor and trans didn’t heat up hardly any, had the brakes smoldering so I know I was giving it all it wanted, is it possible my oil cooler is partially plugged from dirt and junk?

Merchant has the seals for splitting it as well. In the end, I think a whole unit is the same cost though
