Who's the best for EFI live

Welcome. Do a search in the efilive section. This topic has been absolutely beat to death. Everybody that chimes in is only going to give you their opinion. There is no "best" just what people prefer. But to save you a headache personally I would only go with a tuner that is a vendor on this forum, that will weed out alot of the shitty tuners right there.
Do your research. There are some great tuners that are not vendors on this forum. Being a member or vendor has nothing to do with knowing what you are doing and treating people right. If you are in doubt if the person check into him really well or use someone else.
Best advice given.
Everyone has their favorite (hell, theres TWO of those damn threads going here currently), but their favorites may not work for your situation. Too damn many fanboys and not enough critical thinkers on this forum anymore.
Use the forum to get an initial idea who there is out there, but do your research YOURSELF. Call up/email the different EFI guys and talk to them about your current mods, your future plans and goals. Go with the person you feel most comfortable with and who will work with you to reach your goals. Cost of initial services or updates may come into play, too.

I didn't say what I said to exclude the good tuners that aren't vendors I said it to exclude the really shitty ones, I bet for every good tuner there are 10 horrible hacks out there.
What I meant was just to play it safe none of the tuners on here that are vendors will lead you wrong
Well what are some of the top names out there so I can start doing my own research on them in you guys option. Maybe we can start there lol. I have a 2009 duramax basic shit ( dpf delete 4 inch straight piped turbo down pipe afe intake and I've been running the Edge CS programmer on level 7 for the past year/36,000 miles that I've owned the truck. Have about 500 miles left on my warranty and truck is in the shop now getting the tranny rebuild and a few new injectors and a EGT sensor finally and I've heard a lot about EFI live but every time I look into getting one I run into the same Problem on finding a good/trustworthy guy that writes the programming for it. So if I can get a few of your options on the top rated and trustworthy guys that would be a awesome start in the write direction. Thanks in advance

There is no best tuner out there period. If there was then we all would use it and it would be end of subject. It is unfortunately like everything else in life, mostly based on opinions. We all know opinions are like asses, everyone's got one and a lot of them stink. The best thing for you to do is do your research and find out who works the best for you personally. At the end of the day that is all the matters, if you are happy with it. We all have our own style to how we like them to perform and operate, you have to figure out who matches you the best.
