Whos broken an axle shaft?

Just wondering if anyone here has broken an axle shaft.... I seem to remember at least someone doing it.

Probably more of a strain for pullers, but Im wondering about upgrading for drag racing purposes as well.

Rear axle shafts, BTW.

IIRC dmax_lover (john) and Tony Burkhard have had troubles. Johnboy might have broken one too? I forget.

IMHO you'll be fine with stock stuff for drag racing matt, I have only heard of sled pullers having problems.

Thats what I kinda figured. Just saw that good deal on the Yukon shafts and am trying to justify it to myself.

Although I try not to be, Im somewhat burnout/launch happy so thought they might not hurt.

I had a broken front stub shaft. Didn't break it playin BTW. I was tryin to get it out when I did the regear

I broke an axle shaft sled pulling.

I've broken a few sled pulling. Never in the spline, only in the center relief.

I broke six in one year before i installed the ones i sell. One full season on my shafts and no twist in them.

Johnboy and the old freightrain truck are just a couple that have my shafts in them.
