Where can I get lb7 injectors tested, and what does it cost. I'm looking at buying 1-2 sets of "good" takeouts cheap and it would be nice to know there good before installing them

Socal Diesel. industrial injection or Gillett I think can test them also there is a place off 81 in Pa. How cheap are you getting the used ones for it might work out better getting new or even remans bosch then getting used then tested.
I'm sure you must have a diesel shop near you that tests injection pumps and injectors. That's where I went to test out LB7 take outs. Cost me $5 a piece to test. I had 50 of them.

You dont get lucky at 5 bucks around these areas to get them tested. We could only wish for that.

Give a call here. I go through Republic Diesel and they send them here I believe. Cost about 100-150 a set depending on what they run into. They charge by the hour and can repair/rebuild them as well. They have done 4 sets for me and have had no issues with them.
I believe they do an opening pressure test and a leak test.
I can get used injectors around $50-$70 each. If testing is $20 an injector I will still be $150 each less than new, and I will be able to sell the bad ones as cores as long as they aren't cracked. If I get $20-40 for a core injector, I will be way ahead of the game.

Usually seen around $20 a piece. Not any shop can test the common rail ones. Theres a ton of injection shops around me, but none can test them.

I have the link saved I will look it might be Penn its not a big shop. there is also another place out there to. I think last time I heard it was 30 or 35 Trent said for Gillett to test them. I sell remans for 210 and new boschs for 282 ea. I can ask II what they would charge me to test injectors when I call on monday.
I thought we could'nt buy brand new ones and they where just rebuilt by bosch and not a independent bosch dealer? Or I guess thats alll you got on warranty replacements?
I can get brand new ones from Bosch they come in a reman box but are new from Bosch and the cores most be returned in those boxes. there 282.00 ea and 200.00 ea on the core
The remans are rebuilt by bosch with all new parts there 210.00 ea and 200.00 on the cores
henry, would you concider the rebuilts to be as good as the new or suggest the new over the rebuilts? since im currently in the market for injectors lol. sorry chev if i pulled this a bit off topic
When I asked that same ? it was said it was up to what the person wanted to pay. Both parts are covered for 12 months and use the same parts inside.Its hit and miss sometimes on them being in stock since there still catching back up from Bosch moving back in after Xmas. I show a few remans in stock and more new in stock for alittle more money you can also get % over if needed.
