I've used Kennedy, Duramaxtuner.com, and Idaho Rob over the years.

I know Tony, Mark, and Dustin and they are all good people.

You can't go wrong with any of them. Pick the one that works best for you.

If your transmission isn't done you aren't going to run more then a tow tune anyway. So you should have just kept the BD until it is done. Or look for a used programmer like PPE or something for now. Build your transmission and then pick a reputable tuner.

Make a list and ,Eeny, meeny, miny, moe

Kory willis at ppei..... No other tunes compare
From what I've heard Kory is one of the best. Tell us about the other shops that have tuned your truck, sounds like you could give some really good info. Not too often we get a chance to hear someone with first hand experience with several different tuners.

OP, being from Eastern NC if you want someone to be able to tune your truck in person and make little adjustments to things to your liking, it would make sense to go to Dustin @ Diesel Addiction out of Wilmington. He was my first EFI tuner on my old truck. I also had Kory as well. Both are great tuners and have their advantages. I cannot compare them side by side due to major drivetrain changes on my truck when I switched tuners.

Each have their advantages and each tuner no matter who will work with adjustments on the tune. Tire size or whatever you need. Just some things to consider. Some tuners nail the tune right on and dont really need any adjustments at all. Its your choice and preference.

I've run Idaho robs and longhorns tunes.... Sorry, as I should have run every possible tune available before such a statement could have been made.

I have ran Danville, PPEI, ATP, Duramaxtuner, and Moonshine. They are all different but all are good. Every tuner does things differently. I really liked Kory's tunes but Mark is within driving distance for me and has me dialed in very well and is an absolute great guy to deal with, and he does my turbo work. Danville is an all around awesome shop to deal with great people and service.

My experience with kory is everytime something isn't right it's a boost leak.. I've heard that 5 times with 2 different turbos but doesn't smoke in my stock tune. I've also pressure tested it and paid a shop to confirm it....

What about any tuners in the Florida area?

I have Rob's tunes now, but I'd really like one day to have someone tune my truck personally...no disrespect to rob. But Idaho is far away lol
