Who should do my tuning and why? Stock trans for now, currently running an edge cts juice with attitude and it isn't bad but I have to wait for 170 Ect for full tuning and I feel a custom tune would be more beneficial to me for various reasons. Mods are in my sig. I also want someone who can retune when I do more mods in the future. Thanks y'all

Some of the best in the country are vendors on this site, first thing I would do is find out if there was one local to you.

I'm in north central ohio, there are some guys that do it fairly local but they don't seem worth a hoot

Well there are several great tuners here that can email you tunes. Steven Schmitzer, Kory Willis, Rob Coddens, and several more. I would do some searching and reading on here and find out who offers free updates.

Ok thanks y'all, what's the usual turn around wait for auto cal? Like if I log send them the log and they adjust things then send it back, all via email?

Depending on what exactly you're after, and what your future changes entail - we could get you taken care of pretty quickly. Shipping time on the autocal from us to you would be about 3 days, then another day turnaround time (maybe less) on the tuning. I'm assuming you want DSP5 tunes? You have two options for switching with the DSP5 tunes, you can either get an Edge Insight for switching tunes (and gauges too) or get the standard DSP5 switch (which is cheaper).

Either way - if you don't mind the wait time on shipping, the rest is pretty simple based on your mods.

Future updates, depending on what they are, will range in cost from free up to $200 but it really depends on what you change. If you start adding turbos and injectors or built motors, etc... then yes we charge to upgrade and retune and dial that in. Big upgrades are not free, probably find that to be the case from most tuners here or elsewhere....

If we can help, let us know! www.starlitediesel.com

Take your pick from the many tuners that are on this site. You can't really go wrong with any of them. Depending on where you live there may be a one near you that could dyno tune it.

Not many tuners around here, and none that dyno tune currently. Closest is Danville in Indiana that has a dyno IIRC. Crank it up diesel does tuning but no dyno.

Not sure where in Ohio you're at, but if you want to buy tunes and a VIN license I can load them for you so you don't have to buy a v2. Shoot me a PM if you want.

Shipping is 2-3 days and tunes in most cases there sent back after 72 hrs or less. That's after you send a copy of the stock tune. If myself or Tony can help just let us know. We also do pretuned ecm's also.

No limit on tunes other then no smoke or lope tune. Lifetime updates free we do not charge for changes now or later when getting new tunes. So no tier pricing based on what you have done as in stock or over sized injectors, built motor or any turbo setup etc.

If I may offer one piece of advice....buy EFI from a reputable tuner but more importantly buy from one that will not charge for changes! Your truck may very well evolve and so will the needs of your tuning. Buy ONCE like Henry suggested.

I'm with this guy 100% I love my Idahorob tunes but was very dissapointed it cost me $100 to get a retune when I went to 50 hp injectors as most other tuners don't charge that.

Hence the orange name and "vendor" under the name..

Tapatalk doesn't show it. I have to admit, never heard of them either so I was curious too. Don't keep up with everything anymore either though.

That's the purpose of the autocal, so you don't have to buy a V2. Still costs more but is more convenient than havibg to bug somebody all the time and who knows, someday that person could decide to leave and now your SOL.

I was thinking Longhorn Fab Shop was over near him?
