I used to live in Northern California (very north). Got like 50 inches of rain a year...

Now I life in Colorado where we get blizzards with 60 mph wind. In 97 I had drifts 14ft tall all over the place. You get caught out in one of these storms, you can die. Sometimes it can be an adventure.... but I think overall I miss the rain!

You say that but wait till you are in a drought. I'm so effin tired of dust right now. I'm just glad we got rain during hay season or else my cows would be starving and we would be buying more hay at this point.

ditto! We were something like 23" behind on rainfall this year. We actually had to shut a few jobs down it was so dry and dusty. Luckily we had a lot of rain early on that helped the crops. Actually ended up with record corn yields.

Here the yearly avg. Is around 6 or 8 inches and we got 7 inches since 9pm Friday and we had around 1.25 inches thurday night to Friday. So every route on my 50 mile drive to work is flooded by 3-7feet of water

I have not had phone service or internet at the shop for 2 days. Power went out at the house last night.

I love the rain it makes the hay guys around here happy. Good for my line of work. Not so good for the row crop guys. But i live in a lake town and they took alot of water out of the lake this year so the rain is filling it up.

We haven't gone to San Antonio just because of the water levels. These storms sure are bringing up the levels quick. Look at Naci in just 4-days.

After seeing the news this morning, I feel for you guys down there. Looks pretty bad. Is anyone caught up in that mess? I can't believe the pictures they showed from Qualcom Field. Hard to believe they are gonna play a bowl game there tonight.
