Sounds like the whole area is flooded out from the May rains like 9 inches and lots of local problems from guys I talked to trying to work cattle out there. Hope the drags and event go great it's fun to read about even if one can't attend to. Have fun if you can go and run your truck better yet.

The track is dry, but the rest of the area is swamped. Racing should be good. Jason from DIESEL POWER will be here. We are giving special passes out to the relief workers in the flooded areas.

Ellerton said on CompD he's not gonna make it either. Sorry to hear that on both accounts.

It sucks to miss the race but the plus side is since we are not going this weekend, I can now wait a week to re assemble so I called DDP looking to go bigger on the injectors and they are now making me up a set of 60lmp injectors :woott:

I was there for qualifying. The tree and clock was not working everyone was leaving on the arm drop. Robs tow truck looked lick it made a decent pass and the dirty max ran an 8.8 at 160 mph,

Talked to Rob, seems they never did get the lights and tree working and did Arm Drop all day. I know that Rob won the 11.90 class and Mark Venting won Prostreet beating the Bully dog truck in the finals. I didn't hear who won Superstreet. They gave everyone the same points who entered sportman and then did a coin flip off to determine who won. I believe Jim Calhoun won the coin flip. Think that's the only way he has won this year.:D

Ya, it was a real bummer on the lights. I suppose the light controllers and sensors are fairly spendy. It sure would be nice to have critical spares to avoid problems like that with major events. I just hope it doesnt hurt the turnout in the future. All in all it was still fun to watch as a spectator but would have been much better with staging lights and times.:(

Thanks to all the trucks that still ran on sat.
Rumor was, the track owner couldn't care less about what happens with the track, and the events at it.
The Nitro National Pro Hillclimbs were insane though! lol
