Who has the hook up for some lb7 injectors, I feel like I'm dragging my house behind me when I'm driving and after 6 months of knowing there bad I think I want to replace them now, anyone know a good guy or place to get them from, would like to stay stock or maybe a 15 or 30% over

Is he on this site or do I need to call the shop? I don't want to be one of those guys who gets screwed by going cheap trough ebay because I've read nothing but bad reviews about that

Just my opinion, but:

If you are going to stay stock, stay stock. If you want more fuel, go at least 50% over. I ran 60% and they clean up great with a competent (or even halfway competent) tuner.

The extra cost and hassle of getting bigger injectors just isn't worth it for a 15% or 30% higher flow. If you want 15% more fuel, turn your tune up. If 15% more pulsewidth makes your duration too long, you really don't need 15% more injector, you need 50% more injector so you can have some headroom again.

Again, just my opinion, but having gone +60%, I would not go less without being completely stock. (My current build is getting +100%. I have some concern about cleaning up all the smoke, but many people have done it. We shall see.)

Will the bigger injectors cause harm to my truck, she has 213,000 miles on it and is all basically stock, I don't want to put bigger injectors in and tear up the tranny or motor, I understand if I tune it and have the bigger injectors and drive it like I stole it, it will cause problems but can I get bigger injectors and the tuner and keep it safe?

If you're never going to do anything then there is no point. They just cost more. Also look around the classifieds. I remember seeing some lb7 injectors for sale. The stock injectors are good for a fair amount of HP.

Depends how big of a tune you run. The injector size (in this case) Isn't relevant. You would be dumping in the same amount of fuel, just in less time.

Do you have any future plans with the truck?

You can make enough power with stock injectors to tear up your Allison. If you have that kind of mileage on the truck you have better things to spend money on right now then bigger injectors.

Before you do anything with the motor you need the transmission done because all the power you "could" make wont be going anywhere. You're going at it backwards, well most do.

You have to decide what goal of power your "purse" will allow first. You could easily put 500 + HP down to the ground with tuning and a built transmission ,stock motor.
