Who builds maroon torque converters?

So I was told I would be getting a suncoast 1056 as a warranty replacement when the ats built converter in my kit gave up at 100 miles. The new one showed up today in an unmarked box and it's maroon in color. Almost like black cherry. Last I checked a suncoast is gold or gray. Anyone have an idea who this is actually made by?

If its a suncoast it should be stamped with what it is like this picture of a SC1053.

Mine is stamped on the flex plate side of trans. Says Suncoast clear as day.

I have the same unit. My builder also called it a precision. Funny how mine was also replacing an ats converter....had a hole in it. Loving the precision so far tho!:thumb:
