So today my truck gave a haze of white smoke after cranking it up after a long heavy rain. It has done this once before on a rainy day(about a month ago). I've noticed that below my intake (AFE Stage 2) filter a puddle of water usually just sits under it after a rain. Could it be that my intake is sucking in water after a rainstorm?? It has never done this in the dry and runs fine when driving it. This is the second time this has happened. Please help...I hope its not a injector issue.

I have been told white is coolant, mine does it only at a long idle (traffic) or waiting while ther wife is shoping. But if its only after a rain I wouldnt worry. I also have the stage 2 and that thing sucks some air, definatly could just be some water.

I'm guessing the weather wasn't cool because that can cause it? Water won't make it smoke white I don't think. Unburnt fuel can cause white smoke too.

Maybe its just some moisture getting in some electrical connections. I didn't finish my last post. I have seen a plugged up fuel filter cause white smoke never on a dmax though.
