Did you just install the exhaust? They will smoke off the oil residue in the pipes from shipping right after install. It will smoke white.

If it's your injectors, sorry that sucks man.:(

^^originally thats what i thought, but it sounds like he picked it up and hasnt installed it yet.

Take it to a different dealer, newly sounds like he has a good one picked out, and have them test for bad injectors. there is a very good chance you have at east one bad one. THey are required to replace all 8 injectors and do everything free of charge. Then take your reciept, go back to the crappy dealer and try to get some money back.

Its technically not a warrenty just a special service policy so normal warrenty rules do not apply. Also "power-up" devices as Gm calls them do not make you ineligable for injectors. My dealer was going to do mine but i found a bent rod instead.

well here is another update...... Took it to a different dealer today. They confirmed fuel in the oil. Ran the return rate test and it passed. And told me my injectors are leaking. IE no warrenty. 4500 to fix. Remind you i have only had the truck two weeks. So i took it back were i bought it and they hve it and are gonna try and figure something out. But pretty much told me they would not replace all eight injectors

That is such a load of bull I cannot even begin to address it.

Ah well, maybe you'll be better off without this particular truck. Could be its a sign that you'd have bigger problems down the road.

Read it faster than I should . I've had customers call in and ask why there truck is smoking, and what I did to their truck...

I had to take mine to three dealers before I got new injectors. Then they had the towel boy put it back together...He didn't check the lines, they were all rusted which caused fuel leaks at the injectors. Then they tried to tell me that the CP3 went bad and it was 3K to put in a new one. Good dealer techs are very scarce these days...

GM has really cracked down on dealers now a days, If you injectors pass the balance rates test and pass the return rates test then they will do nothing for you under warranty. You could be leaking a gallon of fuel in the oil a day and if the daeler cant get a screen shot on the tech 2 of the balance or return rates bad they can do nothing for you.:(
