I am thinking of having my rockers done in white Line-X. Has anyone else tried the white stuff? I am worried about it holding it's color. Any pics? Thanks.

I had a bad experience. I had my bed done to match the victory red and it faded so bad it looks pink.

I got a quote in Regina in the summer to do a 6 inch strip in black Line-X on the bottom of my rockers. They were going to go from wheel to wheel on my CCSB and quoted me $600. I said ":spit: no thanks." :D

the only bad thing i will ever say about line-x is it fades regardless of color, other then that its better then any other brand imo.

I haven't done it but I've seen it done if you use the proper product it holds up great and doesn't change color.

I would gladly pay $600 if they could guarantee that it wouldn't turn yellow...or grey. :)

I was told by the guy when I got mine done that it is all black then they colour match according to your factory paint so it fades like original. They talked me out of colour matching the box because the scratches would be black when the paint gets knocked off

They told me that they quit spraying colours because they were having trouble with the coloured stuff so black was my only choice. Not sure what trouble they were having with the colours though. As for the price, I thought it was high since they did my box and rails for $700. I found some roll on or sprayable bedliner called Monstaliner that looks good and is supposed to be UV Permanent.

I ordered a few free samples and it seems pretty good and the white sample I got seemed to match my truck pretty good.

Try armaguard in I believe Nisku. Personally I think their stuff is better than Line-X based on what I have seen. Buddy had one truck with armaguard and one with line-X. He has been way easier on the line-x truck and it isn't holding up as well.

Also another buddy with a blue dodge did color matched rockers and around the fenders and 3 years later it looked good still. Armaguard on that one too.
