Thanks guys! I love the sound of it too! Running the same tuning but adjusted the gate alittle and changed the slicks to a smaller set and ran my Indy nationals TCM tune. Truck weighted 5985lbs with me in it at Topeka so I dropped the bumper and hitch to get me to 5900lbs for this run. I am still 100lbs heavier than it was at Indy when I ran the 12.4 on the single 2.6 Stg2 charger of mine. I have to admit I am in love with my twins, they are amazing to be able to make this much power without fueling it hard is just stupid! And to top it off almost getting on the top 50 list with a stock trany is great, what more can I ask for?:happy2:
It is still in the testing phase but it rocks! I think I need to up the size of the gate and the piping for it as I didn't get my total drive pressure down were I want it, close but not perfect. That is R&D for you though. It was 48psi of boost/60-80psi drive max at 4700-5000rpms. I would like to see it come down to 60psi max at that rpms. I am however not going past 60psi until I hit 4K and then the needle starts bouncing between 60-80psi(I really need to put a filter inline but I like looking at the raw data, lol). Either way it is a huge step in the right direction in my eyes for the vgt twin setups. EGT's are only 1400 degrees.
congrat's on the run's and the new time also the new turbo setup it was great meeting you and if you need somene to test on a built motor and twin pumps let me know:happy2:
That was the 42 pass of the year not to mention the everyday driving/ thrashing it gets. I drive it everyday on a 525hp tune and I have ruined a set of rear tires in less than 10k miles without doing burnouts, go figure...:thumb:
